Medium Lightly Sparkling Fine Cider
At the end of the harvest the Fieldfares and Redwings arrive in Somerset from their Arctic summer, to feast on the abundant fruit of the hedgerows and orchards whilst cider makers are picking the last late apples. This is a blend of that late fruit, predominantly focused on bittersweets. Easy drinking and fruity but with great structure and depth. Varieties: Ashton Brown Jersey, Dabinett, Chisel Jersey and Stoke Red.
A rich, bittersweet cider with typical aromas of ripe apple, orchard floor, baking spices and leather, layered with tropical fruit and orange. Full tannin and full body but also very easy to drink and really approachable. Tannins are ripe and lush, and there is enough acid to cut through food. Alc. 4.8% vol.
