Sparkling Medium Fine Cider

Stoke Red bittersharp cider apples with a dash of Michelin bittersweet to round out the profile of this new season cider. Made with Herefordshire grown fruit, from young traditional orchards, the apples had a modest sugar level due to the youthful trees and probably the 2024 season as a whole. 

Stoke Red is an apple with characteristics that can easily be picked out when known, often floral, very much rose like at times making it very pleasant on the nose. The taste being bright red acidity with sherbet fuzz of tannin followed by the most gentle baking spice flavour. Finished with some sweetness, Tom Oliver says this will go very well along side a lightly spiced jalfrezi style curry. Alc. 5.2% vol.
