Sparkling Medium Fine Perry

Red Longdon is an unusual heritage perry pear that dates as far back as at least 1700 and is sadly not widely found today. In the exceptional vintage of 2025 the Ross on Wye team were able to press 120 litres of this pear from four trees grown at Saycell's Farm.

The resultant perry is exquisite; a bouquet of floral aromas lead into a perry that tastes of honeyed poached pears. It's juicy, rich, and with a little natural sweetness balanced by a gentle astringency. Alc. 5.8% vol.
