Medium Sparkling Fine Cider

A rich and rounded single-variety cider. Aged in oak to balance the apple's natural bitterness, it offers warm aromas of marmalade, baked apple, and fresh summer hay. Gently carbonated, it's a soft, medium cider with caramelised apple notes and a pleasing bitterness. It pairs perfectly with a sausage roll or chicken pie.

Discovered in the early 1900s growing as a wild seedling (a 'wilding') in a hedgerow in South Petherton, Dabinett has become one of the quintessential Somerset cider apples. The apples are sourced from an orchard close to the Newt’s estate, with the juice pressed and cold-fermented in the estate cellar, then matured in French oak barrels for six months. Alc. 5.1% vol.
