We've spent our summer mulling, & after months of tasting every mix we can get our hands on, we have found our favourite recipe & it's certainly something superior. It's based on an old recipe; a style of mulling that dates back to Roman times, was highly prized in the Middle Ages, & includes such spices as mace, galangal & dash of black pepper! All you need to do is combine the cider & spice mix, heat, stir, & serve. 

The mix is rich but balanced, warming, & easy to use - & the sachets it comes in might look like plastic, but are in-fact made from a vegetable starch compound, so are compostable at home - you can simply put them in your food waste bin (& the paper envelopes are of course recyclable).
