Sparkling Medium Fine Perry

Situated in the south of Normandy on the Armorican Massif, extending from Domfrontais to the outermost borders of the Mayenne and the Orne, Eric Bordelet grows his many varieties of pear organically and bio-dynamically. This perry is made up of 15 pear varieties, Plant de Blanc - Autricotin - De Cloche - Certeau(origine Champenoise) - Petit Certeau - Fausset - Petit Fausset - Béziers - Belle Verge to name but a few... The terroir is granite and broken schists which form a complex soil and sub-soil that provides the foundation for the terrain. The trees are around 350 years old.

Pale yellow with fine bubbles and a delicate nose of conference and williams pears. Bright in the mouth with an initial hint of sweetness more than balanced by the zesty acidity. Chalky flavours with notes of fresh herbs, mint and quince. Alc. 5.5%
