Still Dry Fine Cider
Fieldwork is a pure bittersweet cider, fully fermented to dry. This style of cider was traditionally drunk throughout the day on Somerset farms. It is a blend of two tanks and one oak cask. The fruit is taken from across all of the orchards that Wilding harvest from through the season. There is plenty of tannin but low acid keeps this very drinkable and best served at cellar temperature.
Medium high, soft tannin, full bodied with a crunchy finish. Aromas of ripe apple, orchard floor, baking spices, tangerine. Cider sitting very much in classic culinary territory, great with a ploughmans lunch - cheese, ham, pickled egg and chutney. Autumn picnics, robust pork dishes, Alc. 6.2%
