Sparkling Dry Fine Cider
Oliver's first single varietal Porter's Perfection from fruit grown local to Bromyard. It’s a funny little apple, yellow-green with stripes of red and a thick fleshy stem. Its most remarkable feature, though, is its regular tendency to form fused fruits, usually in twos, but sometimes three or more, hence its other name, Clusters. When walking through an orchard it is hard to imagine mistaking this variety for anything else. Wild fermented and matured in old welsh spirit casks.
Pale gold in colour, the aroma is of apple, barrel, hay and fresh air. Beautifully poised, this cider drinks as a Fine Cider should and glorifies the fleshy apple acid of the bittersharp Porter’s Perfection and the sanctuary of the welsh spirit barrel. Abv 8.2%
