Dry Still Fine Cider

Song Bird is all about the mighty Egremont Russet. The apples used for this vintage  grown within 5 miles of Gibbet Oak Farm. The fruit used was hand picked at perfect ripeness and pressed straight away in late September 2022. After a slow wild fermentation over winter in stainless steel the cider was racked into two Priorat red wine barrels and an English chardonnay barrel. After spending just 10 weeks in barrel, this cider was singing so beautifully that makers decided to bottle it still, a truly beautiful example of an Egremont Russet cider.

Sensuous almond and stone fruit on the nose, with a prickle of red berry and cream. This is a low tannin dessert fruit cider with great mid palate weight and length. Abv 8.4%
