Pet Nat Perry with Bacchus Grapes
To Boldly Go opens a new frontier in winemaking – or do we mean perry making? Little Pomona's craziest idea yet has brought together Bacchus grapes, sourced by their friend Ingrid from Dunleavy Vineyards, with midseason Herefordshire perry pears - Green Horse and Hendre Huffcap. Throw in carbonic maceration and spontaneous co-fermentation, and the result is the creation of a pét nat that is – yep – out of this world!
Insanely aromatic, all peach, elderflower and hedgerow flowers. In the mouth it’s soft and creamy, with flavours of lemon zest, grapefruit pith, passion fruit, basil leaf, lime oil and just a hint of sweetness. Ultimately it’s totally crushable and a lot of fun! Serve chilled. Abv 7.6%.
